Between April 6 and June 30 I will be artist-in-residence at Seoul Art Space Geumcheon. The stay is supported with a global travel grant awarded by the Senate of Berlin.

During the residency I will focus on the continuation of my work series Urban Characters, drawing connections and analogies between human behavior/feelings and shapes of architecture/urban space. Different buildings and street situations are reinterpreted in an allegoric way, representing a certain “personality” or mood. The city is conceived as the proverbial “stage”, and urban characters perform the play whose script is written by the imagination of the beholder.
